CURRENT USERS AT ST. ANDREWS UNITED CHURCH

Enderby and District Community Resource Centre - https://www.edcrc.ca
This incredible social support organization has been running out of St. Andrew's for 32 years and fills in the gaps that are completely unfunded by our City for children & their families, the unhoused, the unfed, the front line of mental health support and for seniors. St. Andrew's also hosts their weekly parent and tot meet up in the building.

Enderby Garden Club https://www.facebook.com/enderbygardenclub
The Enderby and District Garden Club meets monthly at St. Andrew's. This local group maintains the Cornerstone Garden, promotes local seed savers, biodiversity, backyard agriculture and hosts special speakers to help create a beautiful and self-sufficent community.

Past Uses
Until recently closing as a United Church, the St. Andrew's building hosted substance abuse support groups, acted as a fundraising hub for local childrens camp, Camp McKenzie, and has been used for coffee house music nights, concerts, weddings and celebrations of life.

THE FUTURE

St. Andrew's - A Facility for the Future

The population of Enderby and area is small but growing rapidly. The City of Enderby and the immediate areas of RDNO D and F have a population of nearly 10,000 according to Statistics Canada (2024). With a median age of 54.4 (Census 2022), the area is proving an attractive home for retirees. Families move to our area due to its laid-back atmosphere, small town charm, and affordable easy access to larger centers like Salmon Arm and Vernon. Meanwhile, thousands of tourists enjoy our area seasonally, often staying in long term holiday stays such as Mabel Lake.

With that growth comes the need for more community facilities. Building new structures takes years and millions of dollars that burdens local taxpayers. With 7400 square feet of space, St. Andrews offers a practical turn-key option for public forums, concerts, theatrical productions, markets and community kitchen while maintaining the homebase of the EDCRC for a fraction of the cost of building new.

HOW TO HELP
Donate to EACH
We look forward to the day we waive conditions on the purchase of the church and will close our acquisition on or about Dec 27, 2025. We hope to have our CRA Charitable Status around this time so that any donations to EACH will be tax deductible.
